These are of a 64 Plymouth. What I know is that it is a Hemi 4 speed running electronic ignition (box mounted inside the dash) and no idea what the alternator is from. I also know alt. designs changed and new wiring harnesses are listed by alternator style. There may differences in ballast resistors, maybe voltage regulators.
If some of you could tell me what year alternator style, what electrical parts appear to be burned away, or what needs to be specific to electronic ignition, that would help me.
Thanks in advance for your help.

BTW, cause of the fire has not been determined. DSCN3412.jpgDSCN3414.jpgDSCN3439.jpg

That is a single field alternator. By the look of the pictures you will need a lot, what do you want to change too? Now is the time. The factory wiring ran the main feed inside before coming back out and MIGHT have been the cause, but will never know. Myself went to dual field alternator along with electronic regulator( the common one), not correct but replacement friendly.
