Ok i started getting my dash ready to remove because I'm doing a standard to Ralley conversion and nacho said it is easier to just pull whole dash.assembke.,wire and re install dash, well my.issue is in the point of removing and in hooking the multi point plug behind fusebox going into firewall instead of what I thought was going to be a big plug in turn is a bunch of different plugs. Wowza. I'm not sure what plug goes where. Does anyone have an exploded view of it all hooked up or have a reference other than just a wiring diagram. Also I'm fixing to buy a complete harness for a 400. Can I use that engine harness on a 318 motor. I'm sure some wires are different bit can't be too many. All help is appreciated?
 
I already have an amazing wiring diagram from classiccarwiring.com. I'm looking for pics.
 
I don't have any pics but as you see there is a number of smaller connectors. Between the wiring diagram giving the color of the wire and routing plus the shape of the connector you should be able to ID them. Sorry I don't own a 73 and haven't done the swap. Just speaking from my experience.
 
On my 69 there are 3 harnesses that plug into the bulkhead connector,they can only plug in 1 way so you cant get them mixed up.top middle and bottom only plug in one way.
