engine tube . Where does this belong?

hello .
i found a tube in the engine compartment.
It comes from the valve cover.
the tube is very thick.
where must i put on? on the air cleaner housing , or what??
i am perplexed.
thank you .

is this for vacuum, perhaps?

PCV to Air cleaner?
 
The PCV( Positive Crankcase Ventilation valve) the valve that is in your valve cover usually has a hose that goes to the air cleaner or carburator and is larger than vaccum hoses but smaller than heater hoses.

It shouldn't affect the engine running it is the inlet air for the PCV system
