Looking for a good recommendation for air pressure at the track for a 275/60/15 Et street ss tires on a 3600 lb. 67 coronet?

I would start at 18lbs, and experiment from there. If that was a bias slick, i would start at 13lbs.
I always try to run as much pressure as i can, and still hook up. It really helps with stability down track.
I have heard of guys running 22lbs in drag radials. I doubt that would work with a bias tire.
Oh, and if you cant get it to hook, no matter what pressure, it just might be that the track is not prepped well enough for drag radials.

Thank you for your response.

Thank you for your response. I read where competition engineering shocks help with either traction or launch. Which is what I put on the car.
