I have used it on a ratty 51 Chev and it's still on there 11 years later. Like sleepar implied I wouldn't use it on a nice car I was doing. It's better to cut out the bad metal and weld in new. Good luck.
I use it alot on rusty hard to replace small spots...its quite waterproof and seems to last on a driver. It is hard to sand so i usually cover it with a good quality Bondo and and never have had any problems. Its not a cure-all for panels that should be replaced...welding in new panels is always the best way to fix something
Like mentioned above it has it's place. If possible sandblast first.
I have used it to attach a metal patch to a small area on a roof (anywhere you don't want any chance of a fire) after everything is prepped. Grind, slightly, indent area and attach tiger hair to surrounding area and hold the metal down until it cures. cover with a small layer of TH than use bondo type filler to bring up to surface level.
Would make a nice Joe dirt nose cone.... surprised Mopar performance doesn't supply a tube with the valve covers and heads their selling...
