Fan Blade Color

[1967 satellite]

I am finishing restoring my 1967 Plymouth Satellite. I know the fan blade should be black but I am not sure what sheen it came from the factory. Gloss, Flat, Semi-gloss, matte, satin. Can anyone fill me in on this. I heard gloss or semi-gloss but not really sure. Many thanks as usual. This site ROCKS!

More gloss, when the fan gets hit with sand and bugs it dulls the finish quickly.

If you find a car from a dry area that has not been apart the fan hub that has been covered shows the gloss paint. Clutch or solid it works on both.

I really like SEM products and used Trim Black Ultra in Satin for fan blades on other under hood components.

Don't know the finished part #, but each blade is stamped 2863 224
