I've been reading everything I can on this site about rear main seal leaks I happen to have one and recently made it worse, I've read and seen and cried with the engine builder all those tricks I just ordered a fastfish one piece seal just wondering who has huge now and how it turned out for them this is only in regard to fastfish one piece seal.

Did you have to do anything to the crank or could everything be left in place for the installation of that seal? Looks beefy enough to stop the leak but the one piece might be a problem in installing.

i talked to jeff at fastfish he says you can push them in with crank in position with the parting line up at top 12:00 oclock, he says they work, i have read posts where guys said they have used them and they all have worked, just wondering if anyone has had a failure.

I put one in my race car with engine in place. No leaks
Awsome, how long ago, did you use any sealants on anything, some pictures i have seen on the internet show the seal with a flat bottom ( the area that touches the outer most seal retainer ) the picture thats on there web site shows the seal with a tapper on the outer most area, i forgot to ask jeff with there has been a change in the seal since it was first released because it definitely looks different.

Been a couple of years so I don’t remember exactly. I know I just followed the directions but for some reason with the crank in the car the cut has to be at 6 o’clock. Not 100% sure on that.
