Favorite 70's rock songs...

There are so many great ones out there but I didn’t see one of my all time favorites. I couldn’t pick just 1 so… enjoy!

1968
'I put a spell on you'
Creedence Clearwater Revival

you only started listening to this in the 70's ? :poke:
wrong thread :poke: I was thinking the cars year 'hot tune/song' thread

I had 2 older sisters that were CCR lovers,
always playing it
I heard them from about 8-9 years old on, so about 1967-68-ish

my favorite album was 'Willy & the Poor boys',
my oldest sister Lori (like 4 years older) wore that album out

my favorite song from CCR was "Who will stop the rain"
no idea of the years on either

I like pretty much, most all of them now

I heard somewhere, years ago, when Disco was all the craze, the Rolling Stones' manager insisted they write a disco song. They refused but their manager held their contract over their heads. This is what they came up with. (Only one they ever wrote)

Anybody mention MOUNTAIN- MISSISSIPPI QUEEN?
I'll tell ya, this place is the BEST, where else can a person see Great Mopars, listen to Great music/tunes and just spend their lives getting educated. Most of the above ''Jams'' are in my 8-track and cassette storage boxes.
I did love the AM/8-track player in my Charger so much that I got a cassette player to go in the 8-track slot then I added a FM converter. Ah the best of all worlds. At least for me back in the '70 and '80.
