FBBO Benefit Auction for @moparedtn!

Jeez, you guys and gals are tough! $300.00 for the RR set, if Tom is willing to let them go.
No pressure my friend, if you decide not to let them go , I will contribute regardless. I know this stuff is collectible. And, by the way, I am a Jeweler. My appraiser would go bezerk
right now!

"'evenin', y'all" :)
Ok, I guess it's time for a bit of an update from my corner of the world....
First off, all the "early auction" winners have sent me their money in record time!
THANKS Y'ALL -
Hope everyone is in communication with the donors to arrange
shipping and all that jazz....

Next, I have a couple more folks to embarrass here :) :
- Hey Margaret P! Your PP was out of the blue to me and arrived just fine.
THANK YOU for your kind words and your gift and God bless you and yours!!
(Is she a new member here? Somebody help me out here)

- Hey ANONYMOUS! Yep, this person insists on remaining anonymous, despite my wanting
to sing their praises to everyone and I can respect that.
Regardless, THANK YOU for caring and for all the wonderful words of encouragement!

Finally, a couple of you folks are insisting on sending money for auctions that haven't officially
finished yet....
I always offer to refund them when that happens, but so far, a couple of you are dead set on
sending money now, even if you wind up not winning?
Well ok, we'll keep track of all of that too, for whatever the motivations are. :)

It was an awful day for finding a gig (still real quiet in this neck of the woods) but a productive
day on the ridge, what with chores and such getting done ahead of the coming armageddon from
whatever that thing is in the Gulf right now.
Got roasted while mowing the north 40, but it got done....

OH, I'm thinking of making a video for you folks showing some of where we are up here, the GTX
of course, things like that so you can see a bit of why I'm rooted here and why my Fred is special,
if only to me.
That is, if y'all could stand such a production?
Anyways, that's the news from here. Again, THANKS EVERYONE!

Yes, it's time for some GTX pics Ed!
And a little history lesson of the car & you please?

Good Lord, my friend - it's not like all that crap is on this site somewhere... :)
I'm no videographer, not by a long shot - but I have an idea and I may well give it a shot
when all this is over.

This is what will make it enjoyable! It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to have some of your storytelling built in.

I have followed many of the threads here relating to your escapades, but seeing a video, some of the history of your GTX and why it is special would be fun to hear!

I'll continue clicking the Thanks button as I record each new item and bid just as a backup. If I miss anybody let me know ASAP.

This Benefit Auction ends at midnight Central U.S. time tonight, August 27, 2020
.

I will add instructions tomorrow for concluding things in a tidy manner. Please hold those Private Messages for now -- no one has won anything yet.

There are still several items with NO BIDS and a few that have not yet made Reserve. Please review the list and see if we can get something moving on them too.

Thanks for making this a huge success everybody!!!
:thankyou:

I'll bid $40 on the 62 FSM, item #30, post #149.

Also, let's take the reserve off my air cleaner, item #23, post #116. I thought we were doing reserves on these when I sent it in, but better it sells for something than nobody bids on it.
