I have used both places. Both do great working for my personal stuff. I send stuff to McNichols weekly for work. Their different color anodizing processes they can turn around relatively quickly. Usually, within a couple of days. Their polishing does take much longer and most cases weeks due to all the extra work involved. The end results are always worth the wait. There is these 2 places in Michigan. The McNichols one can do the very long pieces

How often do you need to re-polish?
I like it! The LL1 383 I sold, anodizing was stripped. I used Met Pol to polish it. Did it yearly, looked very nice. This time I sent the moldings out for taking dings, scratches out and I will polish them.
Oh for sad. They thought it was bent. They should have called you and asked if you wanted it straightened.I like it! The LL1 383 I sold, anodizing was stripped. I used Met Pol to polish it. About 40 years ago I sent long quarter moldings to a very well known supposedly knowledgeable place in Canada. People raved about it! Well when I received them the trim closest to the door was about 2 inches to high. In their ultimate wisdom they straightened them. Into the garbage.
