Fiberglass hood. Thoughts????

Anyone used any fiberglass products from this company VFN? Looking at buying one of their bulge hoods shown in this link down a little seems reasonable for the price but want to know how it will hold up.

It all depends on how you mount it, whether it will hold up or not. That is a very long hood and should have some bracing to keep the shape. I have been in the fiberglass business since 1993 and have only seen one of these hoods and it weighed a bunch. You are lucky to have found a mfg. for that hood.

I had a VFN race weight front clip on a brand X car and the hood was so wavy it could have held a gallon of water in the low spots.

Taking it as probably not worth the money? Oem steel ones cost a pretty penny for something that needs body work
