Filler Trim Behind 73/74 Charger Bumpers...Can they be cleaned?

Has anyone out there ever tried to clean the gray filler trim around back side of the bumpers on the 73/74 Chargers? If so, what works best without hurting them? Last resource, can they be painted with a flex agent added to the paint. There in excellent condition other than a little bit of discoloration.

I have had good luck cleaning vinyl and plastic with hand cleaner like GoJo without pumice. If it is permanently stained it can be painted with a flexible paint coating. You will need to use an adhesion promoter and follow the directions for cleaning. Good luck.
