filler tube trunk gasket

Hello all just wondering which way the filler neck trunk

gasket sits lip up or down to the trunk pan

Down. The part number should be hidden.

Dang i was hoping it wasn't putting it that way the hole ends up being forward being the other way the hole seems to be in around the correct position maybe the rubbers are made incorrect or maybe the floor pan is in the wrong place but all the original seals in pictures of original cars seem to have the hole cut more towards the back
