Finally got my swinger !

Well after long thought, i sold my '65 coronet a few weeks back. I have wanted a '70 dart swinger 340/4spd for a long time. I found one locally and picked it up yesterday ! factory 340/4spd car, and #'s matching too !!

I know its not a b-body, but i love this car !!!

Nice looking car. My very first car at 15 was a 318 - auto - B5 blue - Swinger. Given to me by an uncle. Yours looks a whole lot better though.

yeah man, i almost pulled the trigger on a couple of 6cyl clone cars. I knew about this car for a while just never thought i would have a shot at owning it. So happy i was patient ! I would have been pissed if i bought something else and then this one became avaliable .......... Nothing wrong with a clone car, but the real deal is much nicer !!!

Those are great little cars. With a set of 3.91s, a good tune and some distributor work they will surprise a B body 383 magnum or 440 magnum. Very well balanced car with the small block and handle real nice.

They are about the same size as a modern day car with as much or more interior room so you don't feel like you are driving around a Lincoln sized car as with a B body today. Don't get me wrong I love B bodies and love their ride but those Darts are nice cars too.

It has 3.55's out back and a Mopar performance electronic distributor. edelbrock performer rpm heads, air gap intake, holley 770cfm, TTI headers( i do have all of the factory engine parts ) .... I think it runs pretty damn good ! now if i can only get some traction !!
