Welcome from Wisconsin
Does anyone know what my buckets are from?
Welcome from North Carolina.
An era that I, personally, am glad that is over.![]()
Nah. Love the Charger, but that seat looks like an abomination straight out of the 70's.You don't like the blue velvet?
The buckets look stock but with some custom 70s era upholstery .
Ten bucks says your VIN starts with XP29G0G.

Have fun with that! Nice find.Hi Guys,
Finally got my favourite car in the world, a second gen. Charger.
It's a 70 and it's mostly complete and pretty solid.
Got it running, stopping and primed for now, lots of work still to do but I am going drive it as is.
I like the fact that it's not restored or perfect, it means I can enjoy it and take my time working on it, also it was affordable!
It was originally a 318 Beige car w/ a white vinyl roof, came from Kansas.
Will be asking lots of questions and enjoying learning everything there is to know about the car.
Cheers.

Post up your interior Kern.
The first 7 digits of your VIN and mine are the same. 1970 Charger 500 with a 318 built in St Louis, MO.
Mine was built in December 1969.
The 500 models were built with floor shift automatic transmissions, bucket seats, vinyl tops and the aluminum trim piece at the taillight panel.
Mine is also a 500 but I put R/T badges on.

While I liked the look of the original seats, I wanted more side support so I put in front seats from a Neon SRT 4.
