It's been over 6 months but I fired it up and drove it away today.
The first time every year is a joyous occasion.

Got my Motorcycle out of storage today and brought it home I'm ready to
counter-act the rising gas prices!

Glad you had a good day up there.
Thanks spring is a tough time around here we had snow falling until the last week of April.
Looks like this week things turn around.
We are now heading into the time of year where it's hard to compete with our weather but you have to go through the lousy stuff to get here.

Beautiful car! Any photos of the instrument cluster at night? That is truly a work of art.

Yep I lived in Rochester for 40 years and I hated the weather there.

From May to October it's tough to beat.
I've traveled all over the country and we don't get the extreme heat and humidity like many places.
Check this out:

Great car, cool color...Enjoy the season!
There was a really neat '66 at the Spring Fling this year but for some reason some of my picture files got corrupted.

Had mine out on the street last Tuesday evening.

Looks good! Is there a hood scoop in the cars future?
Yes I have a shorter hemi scoop and the hood needs to be finished. Last year's rebuild project didn't quite finish it.
Went to tractor supply tonight with it.

^^^^^^^^
Oh, my GOD that is BEAUTIFUL! Some day I hope to have a 1G Charger just for the dash!
To do any better would require a tripod and leaving the exposure open longer.
This instrument cluster is magnificent in daylight and extraordinary at night.
Thank you so much for posting this photo !

UPDATE:
My son thought we should raise the torsion bar height in the front on Sunday so we cranked it up a turn.
That was a good suggestion it definitely drives better.
Drove back and forth the work yesterday with no issues.
But this morning it seems my voltage limiter stuck i noticed the temp gauge pegged and then dropped all the way back down.
Fuel gauge and oil pressure were pegged.
I shut off the key at a stoplight and both gauges returned.
Fired it back up and away they went.
When I pulled in the lot I shut it off and restarted, both fuel and oil pressure were normal (at least for 30 seconds) but the temp gauge didn't move.
I'm hoping the temperature sensor is the culprit.
Kind of a shame as my temperature gauge has always worked really well.
Hopefully I can get it sorted out I'll probably change out the voltage limiter I have a couple from extra parts.

Nice to see you got the car out for the season Don. Hopefully I will get the new tank in mine this weekend and it will be mobile again.

Looks like fun too...
always cool to see & get these old iron beasts out & drive

congrats & here's to :drinks: another great year

I would love to buy my wife a gen 1 Charger. I have always liked them, one night wife and I were eating pizza when one drove by. Susan commented I would drive one of those. Now that she saw your dash I think she likes them more.
