The neutral safety switch in the race car has always been flaky since I put this transmission in about 25 years ago. More often than not it would not turn over in park. Had someone adjust the shifter linkage and it was better, but still a problem.
Fast forward to my last outing in October. The switch was totally flaky. Zero chance of getting to the NSS in the transmission with the shield in place.
So its finally fixed. The fix was not for the faint hearted, but it was worth it. They make a NSS option for these shifters for the GM's but not for the Mopars. That kinda stinks.
This will be a problem no more.............
