Well if the forecasts hold up, we're done with 100° weather for the season. Only supposed to get to 91° here today, and boy are the cars out! Between my morning bike ride and a trip in the mopar to get dog food, I saw:
A nice yellow '69 Roadrunner
A black '69 GTX
Gorgeous turquoise '69 camaro
2 different very nice shoebox chevys
A very clean stock-looking torino talladega
An old dude in a sweet 'ghia, he had to be in his 80s and had fuzzy dice, a big tall shifter..the whole thing screamed old-school-cool...
(And my '68 Ratellite was out there..)
.....and it's not even noon yet!

yeah it's quite a bit cooler up here too
we just had a hot spell near 100* for a week & a 1/2 or so
staying hot at night too, but it's been a mild summer here really

saw a bunch of Jeep's CJ's & Willys/Kaiser Jeeps going upcountry
& a beautiful 40 (41 ?) Willys hotrod/pro-street style driving around earlier

I don't know of too many MoPars up here

we do have a member up here with a @68X426 68 Hemi RR
but I've only seen him once, he lives a few miles away

& one of my neighbors has a 40 something Plymouth
with a stout SBM, in hotrod flat black & a yellow 66 Barracuda project

my next door neighbor has a nice 68 CJ5
we just finished a frame off build, a year or so ago

Went from wearing shorts to long pants in one day up here. Some nights I'm tempted to turn the heater on.

The weather has been funny here lately. One day it's cooler and the next it's 90. My wife just got out of the pool and the water is 80 degrees and getting cooler every day. I love this time of year as it gets cooler and I'll never miss 90+ temps. Few more weeks and it's long pants and that's when I come out of the woodwork to get ready to enjoy fall.
