Firewall and Cowl

Does anybody know how wide a 71 Barracuda firewall and upper cowl are?. And will it fit a 71 RR, inner fenders are the same, nobody makes new stuff for 71 B bodies.

I do not know the width of the E-body pieces.. but I am pretty sure E-bodies
are the same in the 70-71 model years, and will/should be the same as your 71 B-body. I also think that your should send a PM to (Moparmark) member here, and he should be able to give a totally correct answer.

According to allpar.com they used the B firewall and cowl on the E body.

Just measured my 71 cuda and from the inside of the A pillar across the window channel appears to be the same as my 71 road runner. The front windshield also appears to be the same width at the bottom but is 1 inch taller. The 4 bolts that hold the insrument look to be located the same on both cars. The main difference is the road runner upper cowl/window channel is almost an inch taller. sorry I can't give exact measurements because the trim molding is still on the cuda. I am starting to do the cowl repair on my roadrunner and depending on what my metal fab guy says i would consider the E body cowl for a donor piece for the channel area.
