Firewall grommet

Anyone know if there should be a rubber grommet around the heater lines as they go into the firewall?(69 bee).

there should be a foam gaskets on the heater tubes on the passenger side of the firewall. no grommet on the engine side. At least that's how it is on my '70 plymouth.
