Friday the 21st We went over the hill into Newport Beach to see Friends & Family, it was a very full day & one stop was to *Dog Beach* in Huntington Beach. DanaLoo is seven and half years & it was Her first visit to the ocean.....yes She tried to drink the salt water. I was surprised at how well behaved off leash She was. She responded when called to return, didn't try to jump all over strangers, no conflict with other Dogs. The 'Looster' is still a Puppy, huge abundance of energy & wonder. I'm glad I finally managed to get Her to the water.
Even though I do not hunt, I would like to be able to take Her Bird hunting at least once so She gets a chance to exploit Her breeding some.

Nice story/pics.

Im sure she would be in heaven if you would take her to a freshwater stream or small pond with thick grass around it.

Good to see you are getting out and enjoying nature with friends and animals.

BTW, is that you with a clean shave?

AND , the hair is receding a little too! Getting old is hell, isn’t it?!!!!

Hunting maybe a disappointment. My lab Tanner will only sniff and play with live game. He has taken care of a few opossums that get into his domain. But bunnies and birds are play pals.
Good to see you up and having some fun Blade.
