What is being used now a days for the seams between the floor pans?

Old tar looking stuff is loose and comming up with a shop vac. I do have some areas of light rust. So I do believe that the road water is seeping up thru the pan seams since the tar stuff isn't doing much.
I need to know what product I can get locally ?
Any help is appreciated!!!

Locally, most auto parts stores carry a seam sealer. That won't stop rust though. If you got rust, you'll have to treat it.

Yup, got to get rid of the rust. I've always been one to get rid of the factory undercoating and seam sealer looking for rust hiding under it and have found just that many times.

There are alot of rust converters. Eastwood makes one. I can't think of the name of right now, but it works well. Auto part stores carry it too.

Rust Encapsulator from Eastwood does wonders. I used it on the trunk and used it as a base coat on the floorboards.
