Floor Shift to Column Shift

Hi friends,

I have a floor shift column from a 1970 satellite, and wonder if anyone here has converted theirs to a column shift
I checked the manual and wasn’t clear on the differences.
I know the floor shift has a lower collar on it that may have a lock on it….
Can anyone help?

I was also wondering, do you already have a column shift column to convert your car? We have a column shift car that we are doing a Hellcat swap on and need a floor shift column. Was wondering if we could do some trading of columns if you still had your floor shift column and in need of a column shift?
