Metal Nuts?

Never was a big fan of any band group and didn't know the names of all that many players etc. but there were my favorites but still didn't know their names lol. Cool beans that you got to meet up with them though! Heck, even got into classical music....

Happy to see the mention of deep purple They were quite a talented band. I liked there music from the early days to the late days. I recently looked at some poles on the best rock guitar,drummer,singer ,and keyboard players and all of deep purple’s members show up nicely in them.

They had quite a ride with many different faces. It's hard to top Blackmore as a lead guitarist. The Glenn Hughes days with his bass and especially his vocals. Even Tommy Bolin thrown into the mix on the Come Taste the Band LP. Tommy was an epic songwriter until the Heroin got him.
