Avoid scams, deal locally Beware wiring (e.g. Western Union), cashier checks, money orders, shipping.

I've been looking at that thing online for a few months. only three hours away.

appears to be nice in the photos

Sweet looking ride..... and it is priced right.

It appears to be a nice 66 Satellite but it’s not a GTX and it didn’t start life with a 440.... As long as the person buying it understands that fine.. The deception of putting GTX in the listing is shady & you have to wonder what else isn’t being disclosed...

Not GTX, they started in '67. The '66 Satellite was available with 426 Wedge not 440. Car looks nice, advertiser doesn't know Mopars. I'd look REAL careful before buying.

Thought 1965 was the last year for the street wedge.

64 was the last year. Somestreet wedge motors made their way into some early 65s but not many. 426 wedge motors after 64 were mostly industrial or marine.

The street wedge came in B bodies and some D series light trucks.

I owned a 65 Dodge Monaco 2 dr hdtp with a 426 Wedge engine. Complete original car out of Portland Oregon . The interior was a full front to back console , 4 bucket seats with tan wicker trim . I still have the owners manual. With those options for the car

Like I said theres some 65s that received the 426. Most likely stopped mid production year

In the early 70's I met another 66 Charger owner. His car had a 426 wedge he said was factory.

No, my '65 Coronet was a 426 Street Wedge 4 spd. Not common, I guess but surely available. My 1966 Factory Service Manual has the 426 wedge included. Far as I know '66 Chargers got the first 440's.

Often when "certain" people put cars on Craigslist
they often use key words or terms,
to get more search attention, alike products/cars etc.
that don't really have anything to do with the car they advertise
like the use of Satellite Belvedere GTX mixed, all 3 different models
as key words to expand search possibilities, sort of normal practices
(doesn't make it right, just marketing BS)
in his title, GTX obviously not even available in 66
