My son is looking for his first car, and it will be a classic! Either a 71-74 Charger or a ‘66-69 Barracuda. Saw this one on Facebook, and too far to just fly and take a look. The price is perfect. Anyone in West Virginia?

Thanks

Im not in WV but I did look at that car at the Mopar Nats last weekend. Looked like a very solid car. I didnt look underneath though. 383 4bbl car with a locked up 440.

You would be better off everyday all day to buy one in California. My friend brought me back a 73 Charger from LA and the car is 98 percent rust free. Just the cost to ship it with the price of fuel these days would be extremely expensive!

He also brought me back a 71 Charger R/T from the Arizona desert, completely rust free. You are in the right place to buy really solid cars!

Yeah, I would prefer to find one in California too, but the prices can be more too because it’s California. Looking in Nevada and Arizona too.
Look in the Central Valley around Bakersfield and Fresno. I recently purchased a 66 Charger and 67 Coronet R/T from that area both around 20 K absolutely rust free and running and driving. The Charger is a Poly 318 but it has passable paint and a great interior. The R/T is 100 % original with an untouched 440 and factory AC

West Virginia to California is over 3000 miles it's going to cost more than double what you paid. My friend gets 3 dollars a mile right now.
Shipping isn’t too bad. My 67 Coronet R/T was 1800 from Central Cal to Chicago two months ago. Cheaper than replacing a rusty floor Pan

You did well on both of them. I paid 20k four years ago for the Arizona 71 Charger R/T.

It was 2100 miles from Fresno to my house. My Charger was last year at 1600$ the Coronet was higher at 1800$.
