Love those 62s and 63s!! I need another project now that Im retired! always wanted a 62 Plymouth!
Yes, he was there and not only gave me a tour, but blessed me with his Mopar history, which began in December 1962. I wish that I wasn't on the clock, or I would've stayed all day. As soon as I showed him pictures of my 1963 440, he opened right up. He admitted that he gets a lot of annoying tire kickers.Dan used to be a regular at Don Garlits big Mopar show.
The last I heard he was selling the business including an internship with him staying on to transfer knowledge. That was a few years ago.
We he actually there?
BTW that "Super Bee" has Coronet (possibly 500) trim on the quarter panel. Did you check the VIN?
I got out of Jersey in 2015. Actually they "taxed" me out. LOL I passed it on HWY 301, which is a major cut through from I-95 to I-75. Not too far from Ocala.Where's Waldo ?,(pun intended)!
I know I have seen the Lawman Car race long ago! Thanks for posting & the memories. I just googled Waldo and found it's only 75 miles from where I am trying to move to in Florida. Chances are I will never make it though because IF my house in Freakin NJ ever sells, I will probably just croak from shock! LOL![]()
Southbound Waldo on 301 is a nationally famous speed trap.
Didn't they disband the Police department a couple years ago?Southbound Waldo on 301 is a nationally famous speed trap.
It's a 383 car, auto with console. Near perfect black interior. Dan has the 383, said he was going to build it into a bad *** 6pack car for his girlfriend but they broke up. He showed me the Weiand 6pack manifold he was going to use. A 2 piece setup...I was jealous. He told me 10 grand and he would part with it. I'm not sure if that is with or without drivetrain. Sorry I didn't get more info, I was interested in the wagons, mainly. If you are interested, I can find out the details. PM me.any info on the Bee?
