His facial features make him instantly recognizable (don't know if one would call him "handsome"-ask the girls about that).
I caught this movie, Ring of Fire, on TCM recently, and he was a main character in it. Yes, very distinctive guy. But my all time favorite of him is as the Riddler in Batman. His laugh was the greatest psyho laugh!
