Front Leaf Spring Bushing

Thinking about buying the PST polygraphite leafspring bushings. When removing this front bushing, should the shell be removed or left in place?

Hello,

You will need to remove in the inner sleeve and rubber. You will need to clean the inside of the main eye of all rust prior to installing the new bushing.

That sounds like the bushing shell is meant to be left in. I'll leave my shells in until I have the polygraphite bushings in hand.
