Hi,
I seem to have a strange issue and can't see immediately what is wrong. I have a SuperBee 1970 automatic with new wiring (M&H from yearone). Part was installed by previous owner (dash) - the rest I changed.
Issue 1:
Front lights do not work at all (I checked 1 bulb and it is fine). When switched on no power comes through. When I cleaned the instrument dash I tested the switch and seemed to work fine. All the other lights work (back, side, ..) - except the 4 middle ones. From trying to decipher the schematics the ground should be fine (otherwise other front lights wouldn't work). Cabling to firewall is tested and fine.
Is there between the switch and the firewall a fuse (inline) or splice that could be faulty? How can I test the switch? Maybe an idea to change to a new switch with relay (any schematics for that?)

Issue 2:
when driving foreward my reverse lights are on. When in Park everything is fine. Did I switch the 2 wires around in the double connector near the firewall? (can't check as car is not here at the moment) - or is there a different possible fault?

thanks
CM

issue 1)you will have to chase where the power loss is at starting at the bulb.go backwards towards the switch to find the power loss.start at bulb, then the bulkhead then under the dash.it takes alot of time, but easyest way to find a short.
issue 2)since the reverse lights switch just completes a circuit(2 wire design)it is more then likely some other light is searching for ground through your reverse lights.just start by checking all grounds in the rear.

issue 1 is solved: broken floor dimmer switch. Replaced and everything works again.
issue 2 is next.
