I am looking for an exploded diagram/picture of the front suspension for my 79 300, does it exist?

Factory manual should have it. Have you done a search on the net? Might also be able to find a manual for your car on ebay....

Here is a page which has the 1973 Chassis service manual which includes the same front suspension as your 79 BBody (see Section 2 - 73to79 use the same ISO Kframe but the strutrod bushing size changed in late74)
