Before I drive 400 miles to look at a '74 satellite, can some one tell me about the front and rear suspension. I have many parts for B body from 66-70. The '74, that I want to check out, seems to be missing parts from the front and rear suspension and not interested in another big project. Been speaking to deceased owners wife and she has very little info on the cars. Could not get pics. My knowledge ends at 1970. Thought that Chrysler started making changes around 1973 to the suspension. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

The front suspension is still torsion bars but the k member is vastly different, the upper and lower control arms are different, steering linkage is too. No sway bar will fit except for the 73 and newer models. Steering box is large sector too.
Rear suspension is still leaf springs but now the attachment points at the axle are cushioned in rubber. You can modify a 71-72 axle to fit but the 66-70 axles are too narrow.
The short answer to your question is…
No.

73 and later are completely different. Isolated front and rear suspension. Everything changed.
Isnt the rear a pretty simple, and very common change back to the earlier style tho?
I have no idea about differences in the front...

I have never done it. I know the axle isolators are huge with a big rubber isolater surounding the springs. The axle perch might be the same as earlier years. The axle dimensions are different among the years, perch width and hub to hub. The front spring eye is much larger with a big isolator in it. Swapping back can be done, easily is the question.
