Front valance painted color

My question is, I have seen the lower front valance painted body color and also painted black. Have also read in a Mopar build up procedure that they where painted black? Which is the correct color? thanks

Superbird spoiler is body colour. A few like mine got painted black when replaced to save colour match. Pretty sure Daytona is likewise....

i was asking about the lower flat valance? That's the pc that bolts to the nose in the front and also bolts to the lower radiator support area in the back. And the sides bolt to the lower fender extensions. I believe that the pc was made out of galvanized steel?

The center valance is always black with no over spray.

I’m pretty sure I’ve heard that some were just bare galvanized. Can’t lay my hands on that info just yet.
