Gas @ $2.08 !

We're dumbass californians. We VOTED FOR getting f#@ked like this! Remember we had an opportunity to stop the yearly gas tax increase? The voters in cali said " we like getting it in the a$$! Keep going!"

I think it had to be the wording of the bill. Even these dumb *** liberals shouldn’t have been that naive/stupid!

For my most recent trip to arizona, i bought a tankful of diesel in california at $3.25, and was happy as a clam to get it at that price. To get ready for my trip back to california, i went about twenty miles out of my way, and my girlfriend made fun of me, even though i brought back ten gallons to put in HER truck. I figure it cost me about one and a half gallons to make the trip. I saved 30 cents a gallon on the ten i got for her, and 60 cents a gallon on the 65 gallons of diesel i bought, at $1.81. So i figure it cost me about three buks to save $42. Who is laughing now?
I wonder how much diesel is in cali right now?

I actually had work today, WOO HOO ! Of course i had to stop for gas. It's at $1.29 here now. Then stopped for a quart of oil. Considering the lower demand for both now, i was surprised to see quarts of oil are still at their normal high price. All things considered, i think $7- 11 a quart is high.

Dino oil, or synthetic? Synthetic wont go down just because oil prices are tanking. Saw an independant test of 5w30 full synthetic from walmart, and the new stuff from costco. Both appeared to do VERY well, and the costco stuff is around $2.50 a quart. Still gonna use mobil one (i stocked up when it was on sale) in the v8 hypo pony car, and diesel oil in the diesel, but when the late model hot rod gets some more miles, might give costco's oil a try.

Costco gas Waterbury Ct. $1.499- 89 octane and $1.999- 93 octane. Don't remember last time it was this low here. Fed tax $18.4 Ct tax $.25 but they hide the gross receipt tax on total amount of gas sold. We should enjoy this while it lasts. MO. But 3 weeks home except one drive thru drug store trip 17 days ago. UGH!

Yep. Two five quart jugs in a box, $25. Full synthetic, but only the one weight though, so far.

We bought gas in the OC this weekend for $2.50 a gallon. Haven’t see. It that low here in years. Still getting ripped but will take it while it lasts. Saw plenty of stations that were still up,in the $3.45 range. Why would anyone buy it?.

Yeah, at some price point, a trip to save some money pays off, the more you can buy, the more you can save. (This is old info, as i havent been in cali for a few weeks). The local prices there at my house were thirty or forty cents a gallon more than around my friends house 15 minutes away. So why would i buy gas at home, when i can buy the next time i visit my friends?
And that $3.45 is a full two bucks a gallon more than Fran and Aaron are paying. Then figure in how much the whole state is getting gouged every day. Somebody is making out like a bandit!
