Gas prices.

There are two stations here in Fort Collins, Colorado that started a gas war about 3 weeks ago, and I just checked the price today, and they are at $1.47 and $1.49 today, I think its the lowest in the country, but most of the stations around town are between $1.84 and $1.95. Not sure how they can sell so low, the guy at the low station was interviewed on the Denver news and said he was selling about 25,000 gallons a day, and gets on average 4 to 5 tankers coming in each day. Pretty crazy!!!!

Wow... the price dropped to $2.04 this morning, and when I went to pick up the Mrs at work at 10:00PM the price had dropped to $1.99!

I stopped paying the fuel surcharges as soon as the fuel price started to drop...I have had two calls saying..Its on the invoice.... so what fuel is cheep....we will see.

Gas was down to $1.68.9 yesterday morning here in Mo. 2 Hrs. later it jumped to $1.99.9 pg! Crude is down to 46.35 a barrel. I have a feeling the low prices are going to be going away soon!

I suspect we're going to see oil steady out at about $50/barrel when all is said and done. With Canada and the US, and soon Brazil, entering the market outside of OPEC there's a good chance OPEC is going to dissolve as the wealthier countries decide to quit being dragged down by the poorer ones.

Gas price in Sweden:
5,56 us dollar / gallon at the moment.
60% tax!
Would love the us gas prices!

(We also have 30% income tax
25% tax on everything we buy
car owner tax
house tax
We even had a DOG tax between 1924-1996 and so on......
You may think Sweden should have a pretty decent welfare system with all this taxes, we used to have that.
Now Sweden is a big joke.)

Price is irrelevant here - but the pump price of diesel in my area is 60% of what it was only 3 months ago. And the cost of 91 octane is 25% cheaper over the same period.....summer cruising hasn't been this price for quite a few years :upside down:
