gas tank vent tube

i have installed a repo gas tank in my 66 charger but vent tube elbow does not fit so i made one but it has a slight kink in it will that hurt or will it be ok since its still venting . thanks ahead of time for any answers

guessing, it will depend on how much fuel and how fast it is being drawn out. i would try to re-rout the line while the tank is new and empty.
