Anyone done this, we are trying to install a G/V unit behind my 833 and have been heating and denting the floor, still have clearance issues. Any ideas or tricks to get it in?

Thanks in advance for the help

It does not have to go on the tranny side, you could mount it a little farther back, unless you already cut the driveshaft.

Not sure what Randy was thinking of, it is installed as a replacement to the tail shaft on the 833, just won't clear the tunnel, no way no how, gave up and cut the tunnel open and added material, not pretty but she is in there! On to the next project - rebuilding the streering coupler, then new headers.
Working on these things keep us young, HA!
