I am using a 5500 watt gen. now but it is kind of a pain to unload/load and hook up so I was wondering if my 2000 watt gen. would be enough to run at the track.

I have an 28' enclosed trailer with the normal stuff like lights/radio/TV/microwave. I also use a small air compressor and battery charger sometimes. I was just worried that the smaller gen. didn't have enough wattage for the charger and compressor. I could be way off on this so any thoughts?

The trailer also has a roof mounted air conditioner but I am sure that is WAY to much.

There are charts out there to how much draw your appliances will draw. Like that microwave, coffee maker draw (air compressor ? ) a lot. Look into it and add up your wattage. Of course you wont be using everything at once but keep in mind on those appliances that run constant like your fridge.

The 5500 isn't on wheels?

Yes it is on wheels. It has to be loaded before I put the car away so now I am loading in the dark. I could load it in through the side door but if no one is arund then I am stuck doing it by myself. It can be done but darn heavy.

The smaller one is on wheels also and very easy to load/unload through the side door. It also takes up alot less room.

I will keep an eye out for a chart. I guess I will just use the smaller one for the nightly runs at the track and save the bigger one for the weekend events.
