A 1968 Charger R/T started my passion of all things Hot Rod 25 years ago as a young Marine. I got married and let my new lovely bride talk me into selling my ride. I sure miss that car!! But after 25 years I’m finally back with a great Mopar. A 1965 Plymouth Belvedere 2 radio delete A/C car. I love this little car and can’t wait to get it back on the road. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated!! So thanks in advance. Grins!

Welcome from the Woodlands Tx,!
Thank you for your service!!!
Nice project,
What are your plans???

Thank y’all for the welcome. My plans for the car is to drive it every chance I get. Lol. It’s a complete unmolested car with everything still in place from the factory. It’s a 318 poly with an auto trans. And a 8.3/4 rear end. Not sure of ratio just yet. That info isn’t on the trim tag. At first my plan was to drop a 440 inside. That’s what my charger had and I loved it. But I’ve done some research on the Poly head 318. And I’m now contemplating keeping it. The engine is stuck however, so it will depend on just how much damage has been done. And I love to be different and you don’t see too many of these engines with performance mods. And think a dual quad or three deuce set up woukd look pretty cool. That being said. I do want performance. If I can get it with the poly even if I have to spend a little more I’ll go that route. But if through my investigating I find that the cost out ways the performance you get I’ll still go the route of the 440. Any advice or education is well received. Thank y’all.

Nice.. Welcome from Ohio; Semper Fi.

Grins, Welcome to the group and glad you joined us, from the Pacific Northwest state of Washington. I like your idea about keeping the poly 318 and at least giving it a chance.
