These are the laws of men at the time, not the divine word of some all loving all-powerful god. Today's Christians pick and choose. The Bible is not all about love.

I've read it and am reading it, trying to study but fall far short of what I should. Everything you cherry pick is rebutted with verses and truth is revealed.
Romans 6:23 sums it up here, I'm not asking you to believe, that's your choice, but it does not have to be your fate. Most mock what they do not understand due to pier pressure, fear or in an effort to be "cool".
There are many that have been lost, me included, and have been found, forgiven and redeemed.
