Good ol repost

Artistic license:rolleyes:

Dang, how many times do they pass the green VW Beetle Bug?
That is because the chase is filmed with multiple camera locations, and edited together from the different perspectives to give the impression of a very long winded chase.

I don't think we were ever meant to analyse the **** out of the chase scene.

I did watch it again. And the light did change .but all those cars still appeared instantly. Its just hollywoods lack of continuity. That they don't expect us to notice.
Hollywood and Studio continuity is a source of amusement at times.

A little known fact is Gerald Ford is the passenger in the Charger.

Just kidding. :bs_flag:

I could delete this post for being political...but I hardly think he qualifies as such....

All those hard landings during the chase and the Charger didn't lose the driver's side wheel covers until the final crash. :D

...when it was airborne too !!!

Something weird to look at is the reflections in the driver's rear view mirror inside the Charger.

Obviously done for impact, and also to not see the camera.

Also wondering how many gears that Mustang had....soundtrack would have you believe it was anywhere between 5 and 8.

No pony on the Mustang...must have already run off the road...just like present-day Mustang owners:rolleyes:

Did you know that an anagram of 'Spiro Agnew' is "Grow a Penis' ?

Sorry, The guy in the Charger can't stay in a lane, (on drugs?)
and it's always bothered me why they spent all that time and
money on the Movie, "Bullet" and couldn't put a posi in the car!
The only car that mattered had a sure grip.

I think the charger has a sure grip! The Mustang was doing the one wheel peel! And watch when the charger first takes off! There are no cars coming in the opposite direction. And then Steve McQueen tries to make the left turn, and can't, because out of nowhere all the cars magically appear and Steve can't easily get through. Watch it again carefully.
watched it and slo mode the scene and the Charger has sure grip, both tires smoke and leave black tire marks.

I don’t think the mustang can catch the Charger on a wide open straight road. I realize it’s a movie.

The Charger walks away from the mustang after it hits the wall and lost hubcap s=down the curved hill.
