I'm looking for 2 new grease caps for my 70 RR w/ disc brakes. I've been told some of the aftermarkets are loose fitting. Or where I can purchase some reliable new ones.

I haven't heard of this problem, but couldn't you just enlarge the O.D. of the cap a little? Maybe drive a flat head screwdriver cross-wise along the edge to "fatten it up" a bit? You'll never, ever see it.

Agree. I have two aftermarket ones (Dorman, same part number) and one fits snug as is normal and the other is loose and if you swap sides, the problem doesn't move, which leads me to believe it's the rotor tolerances, not the caps. Just get a punch and "peen" the lip of the cap and it will be fine; otherwise, you'll be swapping rotors until you find the one that fits snug.

Rick Ehrenberg has been selling Mopar ones on eBay for a while. He may still have a few.
His user name on there is rehrenberg.
