I went to the Pismo Beach show today, saw a guy wearing the first shirt and asked where he got it. Said it was a store in Pismo so as I traveled through the show I stopped in and saw many others. I bought the first one for me.

I visited Pismo Beach back in 1991. Flew into SLO via LAX (met Jack LaLane in the SLO terminal). We stayed about a week with a buddy of ours from Westchester County NY who had just returned from 3 years in the USAF, stationed in London, and was chillin' on the west coast for a while. I was very jealous but way happy for him. I think it was one of if not the favorite place I have ever visited.

Is the general vibe of Pismo Beach still like the sentiments illustrated on those T shirts?

How was the show?

The vibe seems to match the shirts quite well. One of the nicer aspects of vintage car shows is that they don't attract libtards and others of their ilk since they would be outnumbered. Now if the show was in SLO proper, I think there would be friction as SLO loves libtards. As far as the show went, it was great. It's interesting to see how it compares to the Morro Bay show. Pismo draws more show cars and viewers. I had my Challenger there when we lived in the area before. 92/93? Have a picture of it in front of Harry's Cocktail Lounge. Pismo has really changed demographics since then too. They really pushed out the less affluent and general beach town dirtbags. Its a nicer area to visit and spend money dining etc.

Thanks for the update!
