Greetings from Poland

Welcome from Southern California Tom !!

Good luck finding a nice Mopar to fix up and get it back on the road.

Yep, you'll need some wrenches, and a few beers too.

You came to the right place, good luck on your search !

Welcome.

Is it complicated, costly and/or difficult to import an old car from the USA?
Related, is it best to import a project or a finished car?
Just curious.

I'd definitely suggest importing a finished car. Parts availability in many non-North American countries could be difficult and very expensive. Shipping cost kills many of my potential purchases and Canada is on the same continent!

Welcome from Central California... Good Luck with your search, as mentioned a complete car would be the easiest route... Having lived in a few other countries I've seen the parts availability issues first hand.. But I've also seen what resourceful people can adapt to work... Still a complete car would be much easier..

Hello there,

Im Tomasz (Tom), living in Warsaw, Poland. I'm very bad in planning stuff, but still it looks like my tiny house on the countryside should be more or less ready within one year. Mentioned house will have a garage with two post lift and all tools I have already collected or will purchase later on. So in that case, I will be on the market for some B body Mopar quite soon. I believe this is some dream chasing part of the life of 40+ year guy like :) So far I just stuff my head with content, looking for ads, trying to get a feeling what is a good option for purchase and some medium restoration project from European perspective - new or second hand parts availability, import and customs, etc. (and because of metric system :) ) I hope I will find a lot of valuable information here and help, if necessary. And when the time comes, I should be able to help others too.

Thanks for letting me join
Welcome from California, Tom! Good luck with your quest for a classic Mopar!
