I'm replacing the aluminum trim on my 1968 GTX's grill. The painter painted this edge the color of the car. But I don't believe that is correct. I have seem pictures where it not painted and some where its blacked out. Does anyone know what is correct before I install it?
Not body color for sure. On my 68 R/R it is blacked out where the holes are to the transition, then just polished alluminum. Should be close to your X.
