Grinding Clearances for rod bolts on stroker 400

Started mocking up the cylinders. I did clean the cylinder bores and pistons, and then coated them in some 30 wt. I noticed a small scratch on one of the bores part way in. Is this anything to worry about? I mean I’m assuming it’ll wear somewhat while the rings seat.

I’m new to this, maybe I’m overly paranoid lol.

Small scratch looks like nothing, it’s either from the wiper on the hone or the bore gauge. Wipe your cylinders out with lacquer thinner, It’ll clean them better.

Use the shop vac next to the grinder. Wipe the oil out of the bore before grinding.
