it was done a lot, when these cars were just old used cars
just put any BB in it & get it back on the road
if it had the org. 440 or a 440 still,
it would be a lot closer in value/asking price
it has a few things that could be easily fixed too
but for the price $32,500
you could buy one, with most that done already

Easy in terms of the work involved, but potentially expensive. If you need to buy all new bumpers and trunk panel it will cost a few grand surely, and re-chroming is very expensive too. If the car is otherwise special or a great bargain these things wouldn't be as important, but for me I'd look elsewhere.Easy enough of a fix.

He probably had a broken 440, and thought by changing it out for a 383, he would be able to change the plugs easier.Who knows why people do dumb stuff!
