Hey Guys,

Quick question. My 1969 Charger R/T currently has the Rallye Gauge set with just the clock instead of the tachometer/clock.

I am looking for a brand new or close to new gauge set but unsure which to go with and how much trouble can I get into if I want to switch from the simple Rallye Clock to the TACH & CLOCK.

1.) What additional work is involved with adding the TACH & Clock. Ex. Is there a whole new wiring setup to the engine to make the tach work or keep it simple with the Rallye Clock.

2.) Does anyone have either of these full sets of gauges as per picture below.

Please PM with price and feedback.

Thank you,

It would be fairly simple to add the tach. You will just need to buy the wiring for the tach which is around $30

That looks like the OER guages from Classic Industries.
I still have the factory guages in my Charger except for the Tachometer. The car had a clock originally. I put in a clock I bought from "Restorations by Julius". To make the tach work, I just had to run a power wire and run the ground to the coil. Pretty simple, really.

Unless all your gauges are toast I would buy a decal reface kit. Got mine from national moparts in Beaverton. Repainted all the needles and polished the lenses. Added a new electronic 5 volt power supply and bypassed the amp gauge. It is much easier and cheaper to add a tach to the steering coloum than buy and install a tic-toc-tach, been there & tried that.

You could purchase a tach from Restorations by Julius (818)882-2825 this is the tach only, that fits where your existing clock is,(cleaner look than a column mounted tach), it looks like it could be a factory tach too, you'd need to run two wires one to the fuse block marked accessorie (like the factory did), and the other to the negative side of the coil for the signal....the case/housing are the ground. If you're gonna run a tic toc tac...you'd use your existing clock power wire for the clock, and again the accessorie hook up on the fuse block for power and a wire to the negative side of the coil for the signal.
