Guys with Long Hair

I like the idea of just looking after me.. and not worrying about someones elses appearance.. everyone is different.. through life everyone changes..

i still have long hair and just tie your hair up when on a creeper . i have had my long hair since i was 15 years old and I'm 63 now . a full head of hair

I haven't gotten a haircut since I retired 6 years ago, except to trim and cut the split ends. It's getting thinner and been starting to fall out.

I had long hair since I was in year 7 in high school. I had it cut during my stroke so they could get into my head, been growing it back but it is not the same there seems to be a lot less

 Old goats and hair stories...

I had hair down on my shoulders as a young teen because that's what you did in the early 70's.
Wore bell bottoms, too.
So much for that nod to conformity...
I stopped doing that decades ago and as I've aged, my hair is getting kept shorter and shorter.
I still have plenty of it (thanks Mom!) and I have to cut it every other week - which I do myself
using one of those clipper sets and utilizing the 1/2" attachment.

(I figured out decades ago that those skanks at the local Hair Cuttery type joint weren't worth
the loot just so's I could get boobage rubbed up against me in the chair - and that I could just
as easily ruin a haircut myself for free!)

Pop always kept his short and usually with some Brylcreem or Vitalis or some such in it, since it
was what they did when he was young, too.
He'd go for his weekly trip to the barber and when he'd announce he was "getting his hair cut",
me being the smartass son would always reply "which one?" :-)

My poor younger brother got Pop's hairline, so he's got a big ol' bald spot on the back of his melon -
which he over-compensates for by totin' around his own ponytail.
I'm like "dude, the 60's are over - and they weren't all that to begin with". :-)

I had long hair in the 70s but when I was just out of school and broke I cut it to get & keep a job. My son has long hair at 29 he works hard enough and times have changed so that he can keep a job but I think he would get more respect if he cut it.
