H E L P 1996 DODGE grand caravan have replaced the cam @ crankshaft sensor ,fuelpump ,coil pack, both the auto shutdown @ fuel pump relays test drive yesterday died , no start, cranks over got home , let sit 12 hours fired right up , slammed the drivers door or the hood it dies , cranks over , no start , any advice, or observations or similar problem would be greatly appreciated also will a 96 3.3 trans fit the 2001 3.8 town@country ? trans mission kicks out of overdrive after it warms up @ sometimes stalls as u comes up to a stop, feels like the torque converter isn't kicking out of lock up mode , any ideas ? thanks

What don't you have when it does not start? Fuel or spark? If it shuts off when the hood is slammed I would say you have a wiring issue. Either s loose wire going open or chaffed and shorting to ground.

yes , that could b but where do i begin , when it was running i wiggled every fuse @ relay in the command center ,under hood ,@ the wires ,from cam @ crank sensor , the purge valve , nothing ,it stayed running , got me bafilled ? thanks ! !

Begin by seeing what you don't have. Fuel or spark. Either pull a plug wire and check for spark, or give it a shot of carb cleaner and see if it fires. Once we figure that out we can narrow it down from there.

Do you have any way to read codes? And just for the hell of it, get that thing rinning and warmed up, then tap on the pcm with a mallet. Not hard. Don't try and smash it, but give it a few taps. See if that makes it stall.
